Directions To Sweat Lodge at Bestwood Country Park

From The M1

Take junction 26 off the M1
Take exit for Nottingham A610 at the junction 26 rdabout.
At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit A6002 sigposted Bullwell/ Hucknall.
Carry straight on A6002 over 2 roundabouts eventually come to a T junction
turn left then there is a roundabout  take the 2nd exit A611 Nottingham City.
Then take the next left B683 (Bestwood Rd) signposted Bestwood Village.
As you come into the village take the first right turn which is Park Road
follow the road down it will eventually become Northern Drive.
Ignore signs for parking and carry on there is a riding school on your left, and the road becomes a track.
There should be signs saying people on business only, but carry on.
Then you turn right up a track by some outbuildings with Alexandra Lodge directly in front of  you, arching over the track.Go up the track with the toilet block on your left and  look out for  a gate on your right hand side, which is where the camping area parking is for the sweat lodge.

From Nottingham

Take A60 North out of City
When you reach Daybrook turn left just after VW Garage onto B6004
Then take 1st right at the next set of traffic lights onto Queens Bower Road
Follow this road going straight over 2 roundabouts
At the end of the road turn right onto Hucknall Road
Then take the next right signposted Bestwood Village the B683 (Bestwood Rd)
As you come into the village take the first right turn which is Park Road
Follow the road down it will eventually become Northern Drive
Ignore signs for parking and carry on, the road becomes a dirt track
There should be signs saying people on business only, but carry on.
Turn right up a track before classrooms and Alexandra lodge follow it up the hill passing a toilet block on your left you will reach a gate to the camping area on your right please park here.
