Summer Solstice Sweat Lodge Camp

15th – 17th June 2012
Bestwood Country Park, Nottingham

As the sun reaches its highest point and mother earth flourishes, it is time to celebrate life in all its fullness. A time to embrace new beginnings and let go of all those old habits and unwanted patterns of behaviour that are holding us back. A time of illumination when we are able to clearly see our path ahead and claim our true destiny.  There will also be a healing space where people can share different forms of healing throughout the camp.

Ceremonies and sweat lodges will be as follows:

Friday       

  - Arrive afternoon/early evening to set up camp

Saturday      

- 9.30am Opening Ceremony
- 10.30am Healing share and Childrens Activities
-  2.00pm children’s sweat lodge
-  7.00pm sweat lodge

Sunday          

- 10.30am Sweat lodge
- 4.00pm Closing Ceremony
(Please note that all timings are approximate.)

Cost - £100 per adult, children (over 2 years) £20. This includes camping,  4 meals and all ceremonies/sweat lodges

An Evening meal will be provided on Friday, with lunch and Evening meal on Saturday and Lunch on Sunday. Meals will be vegetarian but if you have any other dietary requirements please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. All offers of help in the kitchen will be gratefully received – this is very much a ‘hands-on’ camp and we expect everyone to contribute to the smooth running of it.
