Summer Solstice Sweat Lodge Camp - 18th to 20th June 2010
Bestwood Country Park, Nottingham

The Solstice approaches, the sun is at its highest and the moon at its lowest point in the sky. Nature is overflowing with watery sap reaching for heaven. The marriage of heaven and earth is happening before our very eyes. Come and join us and embrace this time of incredible possibilities - a time of illumination and transformation for everyone.  There will also be a healing space where people can share different forms of healing throughout the camp.

Ceremonies and sweat lodges will be as follows:

                             Friday         - Arrive afternoon/early evening to set up camp
- Evening meal

                        Saturday      - 9.30am Opening Ceremony
- 10.30am Build children’s sweat lodge
-  2.00pm Children’s sweat lodge
-  7.00pm Sweat lodge

                        Sunday          - 9.00am Summer Solstice Ceremony
- 10.30am Sweat lodge
- 4.00pm Closing Ceremony

Cost - £100 per adult, children (over 2 years) £20. This includes camping, 4 meals and all ceremonies/sweat lodges

An Evening meal will be provided on Friday, with lunch and Evening meal on Saturday and Lunch on Sunday. Meals will be vegetarian but if you have any other dietary requirements please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. All offers of help in the kitchen will be gratefully received – this is very much a ‘hands-on’ camp and we expect everyone to contribute to the smooth running of it.
